Training
Health & Safety Commitment
Ceilite is committed to carrying out an effective consultation with every one of our employees at all levels.
Engineers, improvers and apprentices are all aware of their duty of care, we constantly update training procedures as required. Ceilite has a firm policy to train its own employees to all of our clients’ requirements and beyond.
Internal training takes place to ensure that a consistent standard of installation, servicing and maintenance is promoted throughout the company. This is controlled by training procedures and policies that are incorporated throughout the company.
Legal records of all electrical testing (PAT) of all installation and servicing equipment carried on our vans is carried out as required. All tools are used by our engineers on site as per our Health & Safety policy. We are subject to independent inspection and assessment through the HVCA (Heating & Ventilation Contractors Association), CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Association) and National Brittania Safe Contractor against clearly defined technical and non-technical standards.
In all cases Ceilite will ensure a safe system of work is used and we will promote its use and awareness to all employees. Working procedures are constantly reviewed and updated as required. This is completed alongside our site operatives to ensure the methods coincide with site requirements.
Tool box talks and our risk assessments are completed weekly by engineers, improvers and apprentices, the records of which are then kept and updated for future reference as required. Two monthly reports are processed and issued to ensure compliance.
Evaluation of all risks in the Risk Assessment is mandatory prior to providing a method statement where we would then put in place workplace precautions and risk control methods as required. Substances are covered by COSHH.
